This worn-out enclosed porch / deck was in desperate need of an update. The customer wanted to keep the existing look but utilize all new materials. This deck was completely torn out, reframed utilizing butyl tape on joists, and high-end composite decking installed. Additionally, new steps were framed, Azek facia and lattice were utilized, new structural fiberglass columns installed, Azek beadboard ceiling planks replaced the old sagging vinyl ceiling, and new aluminum lined vinyl railings were installed. This may look similar at first glance, but the transformation is remarkable.
